Madeline DiMaggio - Madeline
DiMaggio has worked as a creative consultant and story editor to Paramount
Studio and NBC. She has written over 40 hours of produced film in: prime
time sitcoms, one hour action and drama, TV pilots, soaps, animation, after
school specials, and feature films. She co-wrote the movie of the week,
Alibi,
starring Tori Spelling, and the feature film
If The Shoe Fits starring
Rob Lowe and Jennifer Grey. Her spec script
The Harder They Fall
is under option to North by Northwest. Currently she written and sold the
book to feature screenplay Catherine Called Birdywith writer Pamela
Wallace (Witness), for Commotion Entertainment, and Murder With
Privilege, a drama based on a true crime for Showtime.
Michael Hauge - Michael Hauge
is a script consultant, screenwriter, author and lecturer who works with
writers, filmmakers and executives on their screenplays, film projects
and development skills. He has recently coached writers or consulted on
projects for Warner Brothers, Paramount, Disney, Columbia, New Line, CBS,
Lifetime, Morgan Freeman, Jennifer Lopez and Julia Roberts. He also shares
story credit on Heart Of The Atom, now in pre production for director
Luis Mandoki. Michael’s book Writing Screenplays That Sell, now
in its twenty-fifth printing for HarperCollins, is a definitive reference
book for the film and television industries. He has presented his screenwriting
seminars and lectures to more than 20,000 writers and filmmakers throughout
the US, Canada and Europe, and is on the Board of Directors for the American
Screenwriting Association and the Advisory Board for Scriptwriter Magazine
in London.

Once you're ready to begin marketing
your story or screenplay, it's imperative that you prepare a powerful presentation
that will convince agents, managers, producers and executives to read it.
Whether by phone, at a pitch mart, or in a formal pitch meeting, the way
you talk about your project will make the difference between immediate
rejection and quickly advancing your screenwriting, producing or directing
career. This package offers 90 minutes of coaching on a full pitch meeting,
or on telephone pitches for three separate projects.

Michael
Hauge - Story Selection and Script Preparation Package
This package will help you outline
the best story idea for your next screenplay, and will thoroughly prepare
you to begin the first draft. Michael will read brief outlines of up to
5 story ideas, then provide a 90-minute coaching session to help you select
the one that has the greatest artistic and commercial potential, and will
best advance your screenwriting career. You and Michael will then define
the overall structure and characters for the story, the arc for your hero,
and the underlying themes you'll want to explore.

Hauge - The 6-Hour Package
This package provides enough time
for Michael to thoroughly review your screenplay; provide a 2½ hour
telephone or in-person coaching session to discuss all aspects of your
screenplay, including story concept, character, plot structure, writing
style, commercial potential, and marketing approaches; give you extensive
margin notes on the first 10 pages of your screenplay; then review an outline
of your revised story based on the first discussion; and finally provide
a ½ hour follow-up session to prepare you for the rewrite. Any additional
hours after completion of the package: $175/hr.

Hauge - The 12-Hour Package
This larger package includes a thorough
reading and review of your screenplay; detailed margin notes on the first
10 pages; a 2½ hour coaching session; review of an outline of the
revised story; margin notes on the rewritten 10 pages; a 1-hour follow-up
session; plus Michael’s review of the complete rewrite of your screenplay
and an additional 2½ hour coaching session. Any additional hours:
$150/hr.

Hauge - The 24-Hour Package
This is Michael’s most complete
package, and offers his lowest hourly rate. It includes reading your original
screenplay; 10pp. of extensive margin notes; an initial coaching session
of up to 3 hours; review and discussion of an outline of your revised story,
with margin notes on the revised 10 pages; review of an expanded outline
of the story as a final preparation for the rewrite, followed by an additional
coaching session; then a review of your rewritten screenplay with detailed
margin notes throughout the script. Michael will then help you design a
complete marketing plan for your screenplay: identifying the commercial
antecedents and markets for your script; targeting the appropriate agents,
producers and executives to approach; a critique of your query letter;
and a pitch coaching session that will guarantee your screenplay gets read
by the people in power. Any additional hours: $125/hr.
Linda Seger - Dr. Linda Seger
is an international script consultant who started her business in 1981
and has worked on over 2000 scripts from more than 20 countries around
the world. More than 80 of these scripts have been made into films. Her
method includes identifying, analyzing, and helping to solve elusive
script problems that relate to structure, story development, theme, character
development, genre and style.
Rob Tobin - Rob Tobin is screenwriter,
novelist, script consultant, writing coach, former development exec and
book editor. He is the author of the well-known screenwriting book
How
to Write High Structure, High Concept Movies, and lectures frequently
on screenwriting around the country. He has sold both feature and
television scripts, done rewrites and polishes for companies as big as
The Cannell Studios and as small as one-man production companies, and his
feature screenplay "On the DL" has just been optioned by CIV Productions
after making it to the semi-finals of Matt Damon and Ben Affleck's Project
Greenlight.
David Trottier - Dozens of
his clients have sold their work. Two have won Nicholl Fellowships and
one a National Play Award. Dave's book, The Screenwriter's Bible,
is now one of the top selling screenwriting books in the world. His exhaustive
written script evaluation is complemented by a one-on-one story conference
that allows you to follow-up on the written evaluation and get the answers
you need to revise and sell your script.
Paul Young - Paul Young is
the original writer of the Warner Bros. feature BORN TO BE WILD (a Billboard
Top Ten Video Hit), his spec script GREAT AMERICA was bought by Robert
Redford/Wildwood, and his screenplay adaptation of the critically-acclaimed
novel MENDEL'S DWARF is to be produced by Barwood Films, with Barbara Streisand
as Executive Producer. He also is a script consultant whose clients include
Academy Award nominees for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Original Screenplay
and Best Adapted Screenplay, and the Winner of the Grand Jury Prize at
the Cannes Film Festival.
