Lifetime Memberships are nonrefundable. 

Lifetime Memberships are non-transferable. However, if the member passes away prior to having the Lifetime Membership for at least 10 years, the Lifetime membership can be transferred to a family member or co-writing colleague* for the remaining time up to 20 years total.

Lifetime Memberships carry all benefits, discounts and privileges of a Professional membership in effect at the time of joining, or in the future if new Professional benefits are added. 

Lifetime membership cannot be downgraded for Professional or other memberships. 

* A “co-writing colleague” is defined as someone whom you have an established co-writing experience with on your screenplay(s). Screenplays must be produced, published or documented in a professional manner (such as a script registration service, etc.) to establish a significant and on-going co-writing relationship. ASA reserves all rights to make a final decision on the "co-writing colleague" determination.
