Adrienne Shelly has been selected for ASA's  Discover Screenwriting Award for her screenplay, Waitress. In addition to ASA's coveted writing award, Shelly was nominated for the Sundance Film Festival Humanitas Prize and the Independent Spirit Award for Best Screenplay.  ASA encourages you to support the Adrienne Shelly Foundation, which is a non-profit organization dedicated in loving memory to the uniquely gifted actor and filmmaker Adrienne Shelly, whose highly accomplished life was tragically cut short November 1, 2006.
